The overpressure relief valve (OPV) is located at the bottom of the wing. It is fitted with a nylon cord, allowing the valve to be opened with thick gloves and making the possibility of entanglement to a minimum difficult. Its shape and 360-degree internal bladder allow the gas to move easily from one side of the internal bladder to the other. This ensures simple, fast and efficient release of excess gas. The OPV can be used to adjust buoyancy in the horizontal position, reducing the need for the diver to move.
